Independance Day is tomorrow. Nothing seems more fitting than to show my Grandpa along with two of his brothers somewhere between basic training and World War II.
Thanks! I have just recently started putting all my "digital" pictures into one place to try and go through them all. It's nice to scan in a few hundred pics, but if you lose track of where all they are, it's ... overwhelming.
Anyhow, stumbled across our "family" pictures and thought this was appropriate. I'll probably post a few more over time... (Gee... seems like someone's birthday is coming up shortly as I recall).
Now the mystery behind the Wheeler family's legacy of dashingly handsome young men becomes clear. Will we ever see a Young Arkansawyer 'hanging out at the crik?'

That would be Mom's side of the family! Those of us with this last name didn't inherit the looks!
