Canning Maters

Nope. Ain't doing it. But, I ran into a useful recipe on another blogging page, and, well, this lady sure tells it like it is. She has a few lessons learned along with the actual recipe, and, I think it's worth your time. You might get a chuckle out of it, and learn at the same time. As some would say, it's a hoot and a holler. Check it out:

I'll try it as soon as I get home tonight.... Got to work late today. About how long does it take to complete the whole process if you don't mind me asking?

On her step 14 of the third section of steps, as she's wrapping up the recipe, Anne makes the following comment:

14. Try not to think about how you just took 8 freaking hours to make seven jars of sauce. Also try not to think about how you just bought sauce at Giant for $1.00 a jar. Don't think about that. At all.

I'd guess that about sums up the whole process. Of course, I haven't tried it yet, myself.
