With their permission I am posting it here. It is a VERY unusual picture - I know I don't have anything like it nor have I seen anything close anywhere else.
Tim went out to take pictures of the rainbow, and just as he snapped, a bolt of lightning came out of the clouds...

when tim took this photo he was trying to get the rainbow....it covered the whole sky so he had to take 3 shots...the last shot was this one. -redeyedpig
That is a fantastic photo. My son has been trying to get a photo of lightning, but just about the time he gets discouraged and turns to come into the house, it flashes, and he's missed it again.

For my own "lightning shot", which I took earlier this year, I was using a digital camera. It was almost pitch black outside, and I too probably 40-50 shots (digital is free so why not?)... discouraged, I started thinking about it... the lightning kept coming, and I happened to think - my camera will do 15 second shots... so i set it up to do that, and about the 3rd shot, I got this one: My first.
But I have never, ever seen a shot that combined lightning with a rainbow!!!
Wow.. that is indeed amazing!!!! wonder if God had a special message in mind ? Hugs.. karen
