A few weeks ago, I put in a post talking about a cousin of a friend of mine who is attempting to hike the entire Appalachian Trail.

I was thinking it was about time to followup that post, with a "Where's Vinny" post (his name really isn't Vinny. It was just a feeble attempt at humor.) At any rate, Mister "K" is about 1000 miles into his journey. But, he has had to take a break, due to circumstances beyond his control. His Grandfather, who was a great inspiration to him, passed away this past week, and our condolences go out to him and his entire family in their time of loss.
I do look forward to continuing to read the journal describing his trip, and wish him well in whatever lies ahead.
